We want you to feel confident when purchasing from Azalea Tea House. Please review our returns and refunds policy below before placing your order.
Return Eligibility
Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, unopened where applicable, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
Due to the nature of food and beverage products, opened tea packages cannot be returned or refunded unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Tea Products
For hygiene and quality reasons, opened tea products are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
We are unable to accept returns based on personal taste preference once a tea product has been opened.
Sample Sets
We offer sample sets so customers can try our teas before purchasing full-size tins.
Opened sample packs are non-refundable unless damaged, defective, or incorrect.
If you are trying our teas for the first time, we recommend starting with a sample set before choosing a full-size tin.
Teaware & Accessories
Teaware, porcelain items, tea trays, gift boxes, and other accessories may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
Returned teaware and fragile items must be packed securely. We are unable to issue a full refund if an item is returned damaged due to insufficient packaging.
If your teaware or accessory arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at ying@azaleatea.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for your request.
We will provide return instructions if your return is approved. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to us, unless the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or if we made an error with your order.
If the return is due to our error, or if the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will cover the reasonable return shipping cost or provide return instructions.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking information.
Original Shipping Fees
Original shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, or the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
International Orders
For international orders, shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, import charges, and any related handling fees are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for international return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or if we made an error with your order.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Please allow additional time for your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to process and post the refund.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an eligible item for a different product, please contact us at ying@azaleatea.com.
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.
Once reviewed, we may arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund depending on the situation.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
- Items marked as final sale
- Opened tea packages, unless damaged, defective, or incorrect
- Opened sample packs, unless damaged, defective, or incorrect
- Used teaware or accessories
- Items returned damaged due to insufficient return packaging
